NEW DELHI: Smartphone maker Oppo has y launched its mid-range smartphone Oppo A53 2020 in Indonesia. The company has also announced that it will launch the Oppo A52 2020 in India on August 25. Oppo took to Twitter to announce the launch. The company tweeted, “The faster and smoother #OPPOA53 is here! Get ready to feel the speed! Launching on 25th August 2020, 12:30 PM. Stay tuned!”
This is the world’s first smartphone to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 460. The smartphone is priced at Rp 2,499 (Rs 12,666) and it comes in Electic Black and Fancy Blue colour options.
Oppo A53 2020 specifications
Oppo A53 2020 comes with a 6.5-inch HD+ display with a 720×1600 pixel resolution. The display comes with a 20:9 aspect ratio and a 90Hz refresh rate. The smartphone is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm processor coupled with 4GB of RAM.
Oppo A53 2020 comes with 64GB internal storage which can be expanded up to 256GB by installing a microSD card. The smartphone runs Android 10 operating system topped with the company’s own ColorOS 7. The device comes equipped with a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and is backed by a 5000 mAh battery with 18W fast charging support.
Coming to the camera, the Oppo A53 2020 sports a triple rear camera setup which consists of 16MP main sensor and two 2MP sensors. The front houses a 16MP selfie shooter with f/2.0 aperture. On the connectivity front, the smartphone offer 4G, LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and USB Type-C.
Recently, Oppo launched the A72 5G smartphone in China. The smartphone packs 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The dual-SIM smartphone runs Android 10 operating system topped with the company’s own layer of UI. The device is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 720 processor with a Mali-G75 processor.
