The Taiwanese company HTC, whose revenue continues to decline rapidly, is preparing to release a new low-cost smartphone. Information about the device appeared in the Google Play Console database.
The entry-level device will receive a MediaTek Helio A20 processor. This 12nm chip contains only four ARM Cortex-A53 cores clocked at up to 1.8GHz. The integrated accelerator PowerVR GE8300 is busy with graphics processing. The Built-in 4G / LTE modem complies with the Cat-6 standard.
The amount of RAM is small – only 2 GB. It is known that the device operates under the Android 10 operating system.
The smartphone is equipped with an HD + display with a resolution of 1440 × 720 pixels and an aspect ratio of 2: 1. There is no information on the size of the panel yet. The image shows that the screen is framed by wide bezels at the top and bottom; a single front camera is located above the display.
Given the technical characteristics of the device, we can assume that its price will not exceed $ 75. Apparently, the official presentation of the Wildfire E Lite model will take place in the current quarter.
